Mr. <br />Blair stated that none of the chemicals which would be used are dangerous and that <br />no byproduct is created. Within twelve (12) months he hopes to have approximately <br />five (5) people working for him. <br />A. PROPONENTS <br />The applicant. <br />B. OPPONENTS <br />There were none. <br />IV. CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING <br />• Chairman Waters closed the Public Hearing at 6:18 PM. <br />IV-A. CONSIDER RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL REGARDING SPECIAL <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST #SCU92-002. <br />A motion was made by Inge Browder to approve Special Conditional Use Permit <br />#SCU92-002 which would allow Stone Castle Industries to locate their business at <br />205 North 11th Street for the purpose of manufacturing architectural and ornamental <br />trim pieces from synthetic stone. The motion was seconded by Eugene Edmonds. <br />All were in favor and the motion passed. <br />V. CONSIDER PRELIMINARY PLAT OF GLEN MEADOWS MASTER PLAN <br />Mr. Hamngton addressed the Commission regarding the undeveloped portion of the <br />Glen Meadows Subdivision. The General Plan was originally approved on March 28, <br />1977. Since that time, requirements from the Hams County Flood Control District <br />have changed. They now require detention of stormwater runoff. This would require <br />some type of detention facility on the undeveloped land. Furthermore, the airport <br />is in the process of planning a runway extension which would require that the <br />Farrington Blvd. extension be adjusted. The developer has met with City staff in an <br />• effort to develop a revised General Plan and to address the detention problems that <br />exist. The following is a list of key items which address the problems: <br />
