He also noted that its usage is <br />listed on the Harris County tax rolls as residential. In regards to the fence, it is <br />chainlink and does not prevent water from flowing. <br />Mr. Armstrong asked if any written protest had been received. Mr. Harrington <br />stated that 13 notices were mailed and two (2) were received back by mail. One (1) <br />in opposition, one (1) in favor, and two (2) more were hand delivered at the meeting, <br />both in opposition. One (1) phone call was received in favor of the replat. <br />A motion was made by Howard Ebow to approve the replat request. The motion <br />failed due to the lack of a second. <br />A motion was made by Eugene Edmonds to table the item until the next meeting. <br />The motion was seconded by Dottie Kaminski. All were in favor and the motion <br />passed. <br />• VI. CONSIDER GRANTING APPROVAL TO THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF <br />SECTION V OF THE GLEN MEADOWS SUBDIVISION. <br />Mr. Harrington stated that the General Plan for this subdivision had been previously <br />approved. The Preliminary Plat has now been submitted and meets all ordinance <br />requirements. Staff recommends Preliminary Plat approval. <br />Veva Foster, of Municipal Engineering, requested that the Commission grant <br />approval of the Preliminary Plat. <br />A motion was made by Dottie Kaminski to approve the Preliminary Plat of the Glen <br />Meadows Subdivision, Section V. The motion was seconded by Eugene Edmonds. <br />All were in favor and the motion passed. <br />VII. STAFF REPORTS <br />Mr. Harrington reminded the Commission that there will be a joint workshop <br />meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council on Monday <br />to work out a few details regarding sign regulations. <br />• <br />
