CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING <br />Chairman Waters closed the Public Hearing at 6:06 P.M. <br />• VI. CONSIDER PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR ROPES AND ROLEXES SUBDIVISION <br />WHICH WILL OCCUPY AN APPROXIMATELY 25 ACRE TRACT LOCATED <br />BETWEEN ROBIl\TSON AND LOMAX SCHOOL ROADS. <br />Mr. Harrington stated that staff had reviewed the Preliminary Plat for the Ropes and <br />Rolexes Subdivision. At the time staffs review checklist was prepared, a title <br />certificate had not been submitted. This has now been submitted. The checklist also <br />noted that building lines needed to be corrected. Mr. Harrington said that this item <br />could be addressed during the Final Plat approval process. Based on their review, <br />staff recommended approval of the Preliminary Plat of the Ropes and Rolexes <br />Subdivision. <br />Chairman Waters asked how the property owners were going to access the <br />subdivision. Mr. Harrington said the developers were going to be' allowed to open <br />and use the :Lomax School Road extension right-of--way. Chairman Waters asked <br />about the ponds located on the property. Mr. Harrington told her the ponds were <br />going to remain there. <br />City Attorney Knox Askins stated the City should ask the developers to provide a <br />letter from the Rolex Corporation giving them authorization to use their name since <br />it is a registered trademark. <br />• <br />
