CONSIDER RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL REGARDING PROPOSED <br />AMENDMENTS TO ZONING ORDINANCE 1501. <br />A motion was made by Eugene Edmonds to recommend to City Council approval of <br />the following amendments to Zoning Ordinance 1501: (amended language <br />highlighted in bold.) <br />ARTICLE III <br />Section 3-100. Definitions <br />Lot, Residential Large: A homesite for a single family home that is comprised of at <br />least one (1) acre (43,560 square feet). Minimum lot width shall be 100 feet. <br />• <br />Industrial Housing & Buildings: A residential or commercial structure that is <br />constructed in one or more modules or constructed using one or more modular <br />components, built to the specifications of the Texas Department of Licensing and <br />Regulation (T.D.L.R.) Rules and Regulations and designed to be placed on a <br />permanent foundation system consistent with the above requirements. Said <br />industrialized house or building must bear a T.D.L.R. approved decal or insignia <br />permanently affixed to each transportable section or component of each <br />industrialized house or building to indicate compliance with the State standards. An <br />industrialized house or building is not a mobile or manufactured home as defined <br />herein. <br />ARTICLE V <br />Section 5-600. Table A -Residential <br />USES (SIC CODE #) <br />Industrialized housing on a permanent foundation <br />system as defined in Section 3-100. <br />Manufactured housing subdivisions restricted to <br />H.U.D. code manufactured homes; min. width 20 ; <br />min. shingled roofpitch 3:12; permanent foundation <br />system; siding similar to surrounding residential. <br />ZONES <br />R-1 R-2 R-3 M.H. <br />P P P P <br />* C C P <br />Manufactured housing subdivisions (restricted to H.U.D. * P <br />• code manufactured homes on permanent foundation systems. <br />
