NORRIS SUBDIVISION, A 2.745 MINOR <br />SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN TIC 2100 BLOCK OF UNDERWOOD ROAD. <br />Mr. Lewis presented staffs ~ report. The R. Norris Subdivision is located along <br />Underwood Road approximately 100 feet north of Avenue "H". It is to be subdivided <br />into one block containing two lots. Since it is classified as a minor subdivision, this <br />will be the only review necessary. <br />This will be a one owner subdivision, and as such, staff recommended waiving the <br />requirement for covenants. In addition, staff noted a few minor revisions to the plat. <br />A motion was made by Howard Ebow to approve the R. Norris Subdivision with the <br />following conditions: <br />1. Add a City of La Porte survey monument at the southwest corner of <br />the subdivision. <br />2. Delete the words "Laws of the State of Texas" in the approving <br />authority certificate. <br />• 3. Waive Development Ordinance requirement for covenants. <br />The motion was seconded by Chuck Engelken. All were in favor and the motion <br />passed. <br />VIII. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE COLLEGEVIEW SUBDIVISION GENERAL <br />PLAN. <br />Mr. Lewis presented staffs report. The Collegeview subdivision is located at Luella <br />Boulevard and Oakhaven Road. It is divided into one block and two lots, with one <br />of the lots to be developed as amulti-family apartment complex. Due to the size of <br />the subdivision (in excess of ten acres) it is considered a major subdivision. <br />Staffs review indicated the General Plan that has been submitted is in compliance <br />with City regulations and all public improvements will be considered as preliminary <br />plats are received. Staff recommended approval of the General Plan. <br />A motion was made by Inge Browder to approve the General Plan for the <br />Collegeview Subdivision. The motion was seconded by Dottie Kaminski. All were <br />in favor and the motion passed. <br />• <br />
