CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE FAIRMONT PARK EAST, SECTION IV-C <br />PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLATS. <br />A motion was made by Maggie Anderson to approve the Preliminary and Final Plats of <br />Fairmont Park East, Section IV-C with the following condition: <br />• Payment of fees for street lighting service and street signage installation <br />must be paid to the City, prior to the plat being released for recordation. <br />The motion was seconded by Dottie Kaminski. All were in favor and the motion passed. <br />VIII. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE GLEN MEADOWS, SECTION VII, FINAL <br />PLAT. <br />Mr. Lewis presented staff's report regarding the Glen Meadows, Section VII, Final Plat. <br />He noted that this is an 87 lot addition that received Preliminary Plat approval by the <br />Commission on December 7, 1995. The conditions of approval are: <br />• 1. A variance to front setbacks was granted for the lots located on the <br />Glenbay Court cul-de-sac. Terms of the variance were to be noted on the <br />Final Plat. This has been done. <br />2. Survey monument locations were to be noted on the Final Plat. Locations <br />for three monuments have been noted on the original (reproducible) Final <br />Plat document. <br />3. The Special Warranty Deed completing the Section II land transfer was to <br />be filed and recorded with the Harris County Department of Deed <br />Records. The warranty deed has been executed and filed for recordation. <br />The City has received a copy of the filed and recorded deed. <br />Mr. Lewis noted: <br />1. Franchise utility companies have not yet returned letters approving <br />location of easements within the subdivision. <br />2. Payment for street lighting costs and street sign installation should be <br />made to the City. <br />Staff recommended approval of the Final Plat, contingent upon the mentioned items being <br />• resolved, prior to the plat being released for recordation. <br />A motion was made by Howard Ebow to approve the Final Plat of Glen Meadows, <br />Section VII, with the provision that the plat not be released for recordation until; <br />
