• • <br />Planning & Zoning <br />2/20/97 <br />#R97-001 <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />In acting upon a zone change request, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and in turn, City Council, are charged to consider the <br />following factors: <br />• Was the current zoning designation reasonable when <br />assigned? <br />• Was any error made in the assignment of the current <br />zoning? <br />• Is the requested designation compatible with the intent and <br />goals of the City's Comprehensive Plan? <br />It is the burden of the applicant to demonstrate whether any of <br />these criteria have been satisfied. <br />Attachments were submitted along with the applicant's zone change <br />request application. The first attachment listed was "Questions". <br />To ensure that the questions are addressed, staff has incorporated <br />his questions as part of this report. A response to each of the <br />questions has been provided. This information has been provided <br />on the following page. <br />
