• <br />• <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES OF JUNE 17, 1999 <br />Members Present: Betty Waters, Jim Zoller, Michael Jetty, Dottie Kaminski, Hal <br />Lawler, Melton Wolters, Sandie Staniszewski <br />Members Absent: <br />City Staff Present: City Planner Masood Malik, Assistant City Attorney John <br />Armstrong <br />I. CALL TO ORDER. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Waters at 6:02 PM. <br />II. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE MAY 20, 1999, REGULAR MEETING <br />AND PUBLIC HEARING. <br />Motion by Melton Wolters to approve the minutes of May 20, 1999. <br />Second by Sandie Staniszewski. All were in favor and the motion passed. <br />III. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE FINAL PLAT OF FAIRMONT OAKS <br />APARTMENTS, WHICH IS TO BE LOCATED AT 9801 WEST <br />FAIRMONT PARKWAY. <br />Masood Malik presented staff s report and recommended Commission <br />approval of the plat. <br />Motion by Melton Wolters to approve the Final Plat of Fairmont Oaks <br />Apartments with the provision that the plat not be released for recordation <br />until the following items have been completed. <br />1. All public improvements are complete. <br />2. Payment of $32,900 shall be made to the City in lieu of <br />parkland dedication. The figure is based on an $175.00 per <br />unit basis. The money will be placed in an escrow account <br />and will only be used for the acquisition or improvements of <br />public parkland or facilities located in Park Zone II, the zone <br />in which Fairmont Oaks Apartments will be located. <br />Second by Sandie Staniszewski. All were in favor and the motion passed. <br />
