Planning and Zoning Commissiai'C • <br />Minutes of May 24, 2000 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />The Commission discussed various elements of the chapters, but no additions or deletions <br />were made to the draft. <br />The next meeting will be a community forum. This meeting will be an open house format <br />with no formal presentations made. Comment sheets will be provided for citizen input. <br />The consultant and staff will try to schedule this meeting for the third or fourth week in <br />June. <br />Mr. Kneupper informed the Commission there might be slight modifications made to the <br />Implementation Plan, such as updating the Capital Improvement Plan. <br />Chairperson Waters requested a report be prepared that shows projects from our current <br />Comprehensive Plan that have been completed, as well as projects that are being carried <br />over to the new Plan. Everyone agreed this was a good idea. <br />VI. STAFF REPORTS <br />Mr. Ellis reported that Reverend Stillwell withdrew his rezoning request, therefore the <br />recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission will not be forwarded to City <br />Council. <br />Mr. Ellis also stated that the Zoning Board of Adjustment would hear a nonconforming uses <br />case on June 1". <br />VII. ADJOURN <br />Motion to adjourn by Sandie George.
