Gray, Trustee <br /> <br />Requested For: A 16.7686 acre tract out of the William M. Jones Survey; Abstract No., 482, <br />Hanis County, Texas and being a part of a 266.154 Acre Tract described in <br />Film Code 184-69-2052 in the Office of the County Clerk of Harris County, , <br />Texas. <br /> <br />Present Zonine: Low-Density Residential (R.-l) <br /> <br />Requested Use: Residential Subdivision - (Single Family Dwellings) <br /> <br />Backeround: At the February 21, 2002 meeting, the Commission recommended to City <br />Council Rezone Request #R02-001. On March 18, 2002, City Council <br />affirmed the Commission's recommendation and established Ordinance <br />#15.01-UU rezoning 16.7686 acres of land along Driftwood Drive in the <br />Fainnont Park East Section Five from 'GC to R-l. <br /> <br />During the March 21, 2002 meeting, the Commission approved the <br />Amended General Plan for Fairmont Park Eas~ Sections 5-9 with the <br />following condition: <br /> <br />· Dedication of a pedestrian easement along the Exxon/Mobil pipeline to <br />provide access between Fairmont Park and Fainnont Park East The <br />developer and the City staff shall work towards resolution of this issue, <br />prior to filing of the Preliminary Plat. (NOTE: Mr. Gray will convey <br />this pedestrian easement in a separate document John Armstrong, the <br />City's Attorney, is developing this documentJ <br /> <br />On March 22, 2002, Mr. Gray submitted a Preliminary Plat for Fai rmont <br />Park East Section Five, a residential subdivision off Driftwood Drive. As <br />shown, there are 4 blocks and 72 lots with two points of access into the <br />subdivision. <br />
