CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Waters called the meeting to'order at 6:12 PM. <br />II. ADMINISTER OATH OF OFFICE TO RE -APPOINTED MEMBER, RALPH <br />DORSETT. <br />Chairperson Waters administered the Oath of Office to Ralph Dorsett. <br />III. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE SEPTEMBER .191H REGULAR MEETING AND <br />WORKSHOP. <br />Motion by Dottie Kaminski to approve the minutes of September 19, 2002. Second <br />by Ralph Dorsett. All were in favor and the motion carried. <br />IV. REVIEW LAND USE AND ZONING MAPS. <br />Chairperson Waters agreed to hear comments from a member of the audience. Reverend <br />Oliver Stillwell requested the Commission, during their review of the Zoning Map, <br />consider the : possibility of changing the zoning classification of a parcel of land his <br />church owns, currently zoned_ R-2. The property has 300' of frontage along Underwood <br />Rd. and is located on the west side of Underwood' Rd.,' three blocks south of Spencer <br />Hwy. Mr. Stillwell believes changing the zoning classification to Neighborhood <br />Commercial would increase the property's value. <br />The Commission discussed the need to create a new large lot residential zoning or <br />overlay district. <br />The Commission reviewed the Land Use and Zoning Map revised notes from the June <br />20`h and July 18`h workshop meetings, as well as additional areas with conflicts noted by <br />Ms. Goodwin. <br />
