<br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />Minutes of November 16, 2006 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br /> <br />Wayne Sabo <br />· Another freezer company has shown interest in coming to La Porte. <br />· Chili's is working with Harris County to resolve minor issues. <br />· The City is pursuing a Flood Grant to complete the F216 project. <br />· The City Staff is pursuing a Flood Mitigation Grant to complete the concreting <br />of the F112 ditch on the west side of the City at this time. <br />· In the future, the City will probably see more land request for rezone to <br />General Commercial possibly being driven because of the Buxton Study. <br />· Frontier Logistics and the Port of Houston are progressing with the temporary <br />roads to provide relief on the truck traffic north of Barbour's Cut. The <br />Interlocal agreement with the Port of Houston is under review. <br />· There will be a lot of complaints voiced at the next City Council Meeting <br />regarding flooding on the north side of La Porte. The City is taking a look at <br />this matter. <br /> <br />13. COMMISSION COMMENTS <br /> <br />There were none. <br /> <br />14.
