Consider approval of meeting minutes: December 18,2014. <br /> Motion by Commissioner Warren to approve the December 18,2014,meeting minutes,with the <br /> following correction: Remove names of Commissioners shown under Agenda Item 2."Roll Call of i <br /> Members",and replace with the names listed under"Commissioners Present",which include <br /> Richard Warren,Mark Follis,Wyatt Smith,Lou Ann Martin,Trey Kendrick,Nick Barrera,and Hal <br /> I <br /> Lawler. <br /> i <br /> Second by Commissioner Smith. Open public hearing to receive input on an application for Special Conditional Use Permit#14- <br /> 91000003 by Medders Construction,Inc.,to allow for construction of an off-site parking lot on a <br /> 6,250 square foot lot further described as Lots 1&2,Block 789,Town of La Porte,City of La Porte, <br /> Harris County,Texas. <br /> I <br /> Chairman Lawler opened the public hearing at 6:05 p.m. <br /> a. Staff Presentation <br /> City Planner Eric Ensey presented the staff report on Special Conditional Use Permit request <br /> #14-91000003 to allow construction of an off-site parking lot with covered parking at the <br /> southeast corner of 16th and W. "C"Streets. The applicant owns and operates a general <br /> contractor construction company at 311 S. 16th Street. If approved,the site will provide <br /> additional parking for vehicles and flat-bed trailers (wheeled stock). <br />
