Consider approval or other action regarding a request by Jeff Presnal of Cypressbrook <br /> Management Company,LP,applicant,on behalf of Carrington F.Weems,owner for approval <br /> of the proposed General Plan for the 5.051 acre tract of land legally described as Blocks 1143 <br /> and 1144, La Porte Subdivision,located on S. 16th St. north of the W. M St. ROW. <br /> Vice Chairman Warren introduced the request. <br /> a. Staff Presentation <br /> City Planner Clowes asked the commission to table the item as it is related to the previous <br /> SCUP request <br /> 7. Consider a request to approve the General Plan for SCUP#17-91000004. <br /> Motion by Commissioner Martin to table the item. <br /> Second by Commissioner LaCour. Open Public Hearing to receive input on an ordinance amending Chapter 106"Zoning"of the <br /> Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte,amending the sections 106-741 and 106-771 <br /> regarding changes to the allowed uses in the Neighborhood Commercial (NC)zoning district. <br /> Vice Chairman Warren opened the public hearing at 6:03 p.m. <br /> a. Staff Presentation <br /> City Planner Clowes gave staff's presentation. City Planner Clowes explained that the <br /> proposed amendments to Chapter 106 would add additional permitted uses to the NC <br /> zoning district. <br /> b.
