Minutes, Regular Meeting, La Porte Board of Adjustment
May 27, 1982, Page 2

Chairman Grant Asked for a report from Albanese.

Albanese reported Roscoe is a dedicated street on paper only,
with no plans to improve that section at this time. Further,
the front of a house is the side that faces the street. There
is an ordinance designating that the front of bay houses may
face the bay and the back faces the street. Another question
concerned Fire and Police response and the departments felt
there might be some confusion with a Roscoe address.

Discussion followed. The Board decided to tour the property
in question.

2S minutes later

Grant presented the question again for the Board's considera-
tion. Are we prepared to consider a variance to the front
building line in this case, for a Lobit Street address?

A motion was made by Thompson to
the front building line at Lobit
Mrs. Sokol.
