<br />MINUTES <br /> <br />OF THE <br /> <br />LA PORTE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 23, 1982 <br /> <br />1. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Sidney <br />Grant at 1:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Members of the Board Present: Sidney Grant, Linda Mains, <br />John Albanese, Bill Thompson <br /> <br />2. The minutes of the Regular Meeting of the La Porte Zoning <br />Board of Adjustment held June 26, 1982, were read and <br />approved. <br /> <br />3. The Commission considered a request by Roy H. Gonzales, Sr., <br />to erect a front yard fence at 402 South 15th Street around <br />his garden. <br /> <br />After review of the location there was some discussion as to <br />the effect of the neighborhood. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Thompson to grant the variance to the <br />Zoning Ordinance 780, Section 13-205(3). Second by Mains. <br />The motion carried, 4 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Grant, Mains, Thompson, Albanese <br />None <br /> <br />4. The Commission considered a request by Randy Streetman for a <br />variance to the front building line requiring 25 foot set <br />back at 1125 Canyon Springs Drive in the Creekmont subdivi- <br />sion. Streetman was requesting a 20 foot front building set <br />back line at that address. <br /> <br />After due consideration of the fact that the slab has been <br />poured and the house is nearing completion, the Commission <br />considered the fact that all other set backs have been complied <br />with or exceeded requirements. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Albanese to grant a variance to the re- <br />quired 25 foot front set back building line at 1125 Canyon <br />Springs Drive in the Creekmont subdivision.
