CITY OF LA PORTE <br />INTER OFFICE MEMO <br />To: Planning and Zoning Board of Adjustments <br />,�► <br />Re: Special Exception Pulte Homes Corp. Block 4, Lot 13, <br />Meadow Park <br />I have received a request from Pulte Homes Corp. for a <br />front and rear yard setback special exception. The lot is <br />described as Lot 13, Block 4 of Meadow Park subdivision. <br />Included is a plot plan that indicates the nature of the two <br />setback exceptions. The plan that is shown is the smallest <br />of their plans. The structure will encroach 3 feet into both <br />the front and rear yards. The front yard encroachment will <br />be a right triangle 'of about 10' X 3'. The rear yard <br />encroachment will be about 7' X 3'. I have asked Pulte Homes <br />to examine all of the other lots within this subdivision to <br />insure that no other exceptions will be required. They have <br />responded that this will be the last exception needed. <br />This is somewhat of a self imposed hardship. This <br />request does however seem to be within the parameters of a <br />special exception. The only alternative to granting this <br />exception is to leave this lot vacant. Since Pulte Homes has <br />assured us in writing that this is the last such request, I <br />would recommend that this exception be granted. <br />If I can supply you with any other information please <br />contact me. <br />
