BOX 22768 • (71 3) 999-2626 • HOUSTON, TEXAS 77227 <br />April 30, 1985 <br />Zoning Board of Adjustments <br />City of La Porte, Texas <br />La Porte, Texas <br />Attention: Ms. Cherie Black <br />Re: Ordinance 4780 <br />Section 13-405-~~ <br />Dear Ms. Black: <br />We have been informed by the building inspection Department of La Porte <br />that referenced Ordinance prohibits the living in a trailer parked on <br />a vacant lot for the purpose of living in same. <br />We, Valcon II, Inc., are the General Contractor engaged in the construction <br />of the La Porte Junior High School (Lomax). The schedule and security of <br />this project requires our superintendent to be on the job site constantly <br />Monday through Friday and until noon on Saturday. <br />We respectfully request permission for Mr. Sapp to be allowed to sleep a <br />portion the time on this project in his combination Conference and Office <br />quarters. This is not Mr. Sapp`s home, he lives with his wife and family <br />at his address in Yoakum, Texas. <br />If Mr. Sapp`s staying on the jobsite under the above described conditions <br />is in conflict with any ordinance or rule, please grant us a variance that <br />will allow him to do so. <br />Respectfully, <br />VALCON II, INC. <br />'~i~ <br />N.
