<br />Minutes, Zoning Board of Adjustment <br />July 25, 1985, Page 2 <br /> <br />Motion was made by Vivian Covington to take the recommendation <br />of staff and table this item and the request of Wilbert <br />Haygood until the new zoning ordinance is adopted. Second by <br />Gladys Roth. The motion carried, 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Covington, Roth, Farias, Knight, Bernay, Zemanek <br />None <br /> <br />5. This item was incorporated with item 3. <br /> <br />6. The Board considered the request of Robert Boyd for a special <br />exception to Section 13-204(1) of the Zoning Ordinance, <br />regarding an encroachment to the building line on his <br />property. <br /> <br />Mr. Boyd wishes to build a carport, and his lot is shaped so <br />that one corner of the carport encroaches on the building <br />line. He wishes to have a variance granted in order to <br />complete the carport. <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the variance be granted because of the <br />configuration of Mr. Boyd's lot. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Vivian Covington to grant Mr. Boyd's the <br />request for variance. Second by Deborah Bernay. The motion <br />carried, 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Covington, Roth, Farias, Knight, Bernay, Zemanek <br />None <br /> <br />7.
