The Board considered approving the rlinutes of tYle public <br />hearing and meeting held July g, 1987• <br />Ivloticn was made by Deborah Bernav to approve the July 9 <br />minutes as presented. Second by Jody Seeger. The notion <br />carried, 4 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Humphrey, Parson, Bernay and Seeger <br />flays: None <br />3. Motion was made by Decorah Bernay t,o suspend the agenda in <br />order that the _req_u.est from 11e~a Jerusalemn Church could be <br />considered first. Second by Jody Seeger. The motion <br />carried, 4 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Humphrey, Parson, Bernay and Seeger <br />1`Iays: P1one <br />4. The Public Hearing regarding the request of Mew Jerusalem <br />Church for Special Exception to Section 5-700, Table B, <br />Setback Requirements of the La Porte Zoning Ordinance, caas <br />opened by Chairman Humphrey. <br />City Inspector dark Lewis reviewed Reverend Haggerty's <br />request on behalf of the 1`Ieta Jerusalem Church, and added that <br />Staff's recomrnendation was for the rea,uest to be granted. <br />• <br />
