Sims, <br />After visiting with you Monday afternoon, I asked the City's <br />engineering division to verify the right of way boundaries of ~~lest E <br />street. The attached drawing was returned to me. As indicated, 4.5 <br />feet of your new carport extends onto the road right of way In <br />of°der to comply with the City's Zoning Ordinance set back <br />requirements, 14.5 feet of the structure must be removed. <br />• 4lhile you have the right to appeal to the City's Zoning Board of <br />Adjustrients regarding the portion of the carport located on your <br />property, this appeal may not extend to right of way encroachments. <br />This rieans that .regardless of the Board's decision, the 4.5 feet of <br />encroachr;,ent riust be removed. <br />Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this <br />natter.
