CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order by Chairman Bernay at 7:05 PM. <br /> <br />II. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE AUGUST 4, 1994, BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />MEETING. <br /> <br />With no corrections needed, Chairman Bernay declared the minutes approved as <br />presented. <br /> <br />III. CONSIDER SPECIAL EXCEPTION SE94-002, WHICH HAS BEEN <br />REQUESTED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ALLOWING CONSTRUCTION OF A <br />GRAVEL PARKING LOT TO BE LOCATED IN THE 500 BLOCK OF SOUTH <br />18TH STREET. <br /> <br />Mr. Lewis explained to the Board that the request was made by Highway <br />Transport, located in the 500 block of South 18th Street. The applicants are <br />seeking an exception to the Zoning Ordinance requirements for dust free parking <br />for the purpose of allowing construction of a gravel parking lot. <br /> <br />Mr. Lewis stated the applicants plan to use limestone gravel and surround the <br />parking lot with concrete curbing. In addition, they intend to place the gravel <br />over an 8" layer of lime stabilized soil. <br />
