("SignAd"), in <br />connection with the January 9, 2008 denial of its application to erect an off-premise sign adjacent <br />to SH 146 in La Porte, Texas. please consider this SignAd's appeal to the Zoning Board of <br />Adjustment of the permit denial, pursuant to Chapter 106 of the City of La Porte's ("City") Code <br />of Ordinances ("Code"). Enclosed is a completed Appeal form, as well as SignAd's check in the <br />amount of $150.00 in payment of the fee for this appeal. Additionally, enclosed please find a <br />copy of the Lease Agreement ("Lease") which pertains to the proposed site for the sign. The <br />Lease, a true and correct copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 1, authorizes SignAd to act <br />on the property owner's behalf in this matter. <br /> <br />Facts Relevant to this Matter <br /> <br />On December 21, 2007, SignAd applied for a permit to erect a new off-premise sign <br />adjacent to Spencer Highway at 1911 West Main Street in La Porte.
