Dan Zoch, on behalf of 1445 Sens <br /> Road, L.P., seeks a variance to erect a fence at 5' instead of 20' from the property line in the <br /> front yard setback per Section 106 -797 of the Code of Ordinances. This variance is being <br /> sought under the terms of Section 106- 192(b) (2) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La <br /> Porte. <br /> A. STAFF PRESENTATION <br /> Masood Malik, City Planner, presented staff's report. <br /> Ten public hearing notices were mailed to property owners within 200' of the subject <br /> property. Consider Special Exception #11- 94000002 & Variance Request #11- 93000007 for the <br /> property located at 501 North 7 Street, further described by the Harris County Appraisal <br /> District as Lots 17 -18, Block 101, Town of La Porte, Johnson Hunter Survey, Abstract 35, La <br /> Porte, Harris County, Texas. Ed Fendell of Bay Area Habitat for Humanity seeks a 5' <br /> exception to the 10' side yard setback requirement on a corner lot and variance for driveway <br /> to be placed at 5' in lieu of 25' from an intersection. Special Exception and Variance are <br /> being sought under the terms of Sections 106 -191 (2) (b) and 192(b) (2) of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of La Porte. <br /> A.
