The Annual Mowing Contract is the means <br />by which the City is able to take action on code enforcement violations relating to nuisance <br />caused by weeds. <br />Advertised Sealed Bid #13016–Annual Mowing Contract was opened and read on May 2, 2013. <br />Bid requests were sent to nineteen (19) vendors with two (2) returning a bid. The City’s current <br />service provider K&K Tractor submitted the low bid. There is price decrease of $5.00 for <br />mowing of undivided acreage with a brush hog and mowing and weed eating residential home <br />sites with riding or hand mower. <br />The current term of the contract has been structured the sameas in past years, one (1) year, with <br />three (3)additional 1-year renewal options. <br />Action Required by Council: <br />Consider approval or other action to award of Sealed Bid #13016 to K&K Tractor Service. <br />Approved for City Council Agenda <br />Corby D.
