This is the same <br />quantity and dimensions as recent prior years. 27,500 rolls will provide for the distribution of 3 <br />rolls of bags to each residential customer in the Cityand an additional 2,000 rolls for new <br />services and 2,000 for sale. Bags are scheduled for distributionto residentsin February. <br />Delivery of the bags is scheduled for mid-December. <br />Bids for the advertised sealed bid (Bid #14002) for plastic garbage bags were opened and read on <br />November 5, 2013. Bid notification was accessed online by 27vendors, with 7 returning bids. <br />A request for bids was also advertised in the Houston Chronicle and posted on the City website. <br />$4.00 <br />$3.90 <br />The lowest and best bid was submitted by Dyna Pak <br />$3.80 <br />Corporation for $4.06per rollrepresenting a total of <br />$3.70 <br />$111,650for 27,500 rolls.
