The cap for year two is 4%. Therefore, each step on the scale was evenly reduced to <br />lower the budgetary impact to be equal to 4%.The resulting proposed pay scale was provided to the City and <br />th <br />Association bargaining team members for review. On May 17, City and Association teams met and agreed to <br />the proposedpay scale. As required, the full membership bodyof the Police Association has alsoaffirmatively <br />voted to accept the proposed pay scale. <br />The existing Agreement and current pay scale (Attachment A of the Agreement) arepursuant to the provisions <br />of the Texas Local Government Code and will be in effect until September 30, 2018. <br />Action Required by Council: <br />Consider approvalor other actionregarding the proposed Meet and Confer pay scaleto be effective <br />10/01/2018through 09/30/2019. <br />Approved for City Council Agenda <br />Corby Alexander,City ManagerDate <br /> <br />
