<br />7.REPORTS <br />a.Receive report on the La Porte Development Corporation Board meeting. \[Councilperson Nancy Ojeda\] <br /> <br />Councilperson Ojeda reported the Board met and approved an enhancement grants for Boats, Etc. <br />8.ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br />Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting, January 28 <br /> Drainage and Flooding Committee meeting, February 8 <br /> City Council meeting, February 8 <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, February 18 <br /> City Council meeting, February 22 <br />Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting, February 25 <br />City Manager Corby Alexander said there were no reports. <br />9.COUNCIL COMMENTS Hear announcements concerning matters appearing on the agenda; items of community <br />interest; and/or inquiries of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy from the Mayor, <br />Councilmembers, and City staff, for which no formal action will be discussed or taken. <br /> <br />Councilpersons congratulated all the employees recognized this evening, thanking them for their service; expressed <br />pleasure about the fencing going up on the other side of Spencer Highway; noted looking forward to hearing more of <br />the Pecan Park plan; shared concern <br />living areas, over the increased EMS calls; thanked Parks Director Ros Epting for excellent management of the vaccine <br />event; congratulated Michael Dolby and Finance on the award they received recently, for the eighth year in a row; <br />thanked the Council for the Bay Terrace drainage project; and asked that the decorative street lights on Main Street be <br />checked, as some have been reported as being out; <br />ADJOURN Without objection, Mayor Rigby adjourned the meeting at 6:57 p.m. <br />_______________________________ <br />Lee Woodward, City Secretary <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />January 25, 2021, Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
