Potential improvements include: increasing storm sewer pipe capacity and level of <br />service from a 3-year rain event, to the Atlas-14 100-year rain event by replacing <br />approximately 7000 LF of storm sewer pipe (various sizes, 24" - 54"); replacing the <br />existing 3-foot wide inlet openings with inlets having a minimum opening of 5-feet; <br />creating overland sheet flow path(s) by reconstructing/regrading approximately 46,700 <br />SY of concrete paving within the project area bounded by: Fairbrook Lane to the south; <br />Willowspring Creek to the west; Centerpoint Energy powerline corridor to the north; and <br />Gladwyne Lane to the east. The estimated total project cost is $11,400,010. <br /> <br /> <br />Benefits: <br /> <br /> <br /> Consistent with priorities identified within the Harris County Multi-Hazard <br />Mitigation Action Plan <br /> The City's Comprehensive Plan - 2018 Five Year Update prioritized twelve <br />actions, with Infrastructure and Drainage Improvements listed as the top <br />priorities. <br /> <br />Liabilities: <br /> Improvements are not fully funded.
