Service Awards — October 25, 2021 <br />The four employees being recognized tonight have a combined 90 <br />years of service to the La Porte community. <br />Charlene Fox, Telecom municator (20 years) <br />Charlene joined the team in October of 2001 as a <br />Telecom municator. For the past two decades she has served the La <br />Porte community by fielding calls for service for Police, Fire, EMS, <br />and other City services. Charlene is certified as a Master <br />Telecom municator by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, <br />and has been nominated for Employee of the Quarter on 4 <br />different occasions. Charlene has played a critical role in improving <br />the public safety of La Porte for the past 20 years. <br />Thank you for your service Charlene. <br />Chris Muska, Senior Park Maintenance Worker (25 years) <br />Chris began work with La Porte as a Park Maintenance Worker I in <br />October of 1996. He was promoted to level II in 2000 and the Senior <br />level in 2001. Chris leads the Special Events Crew which is <br />responsible for playground installations, Christmas decoration <br />installation and removal, and a numerous other special projects. <br />Chris is also a Certified Playground Inspector and takes great pride <br />in ensuring that all of our City playgrounds and parks are safe for <br />residents and visitors. <br />Chris, thanks for all you do for the La Porte community. <br />
