Jesse Gonzalez, Sr. Utility Maintenance Operator (10 years) <br /> <br />Jesse Gonzalez has also provided a decade of service in <br />installing and maintaining our utility systems. He holds a class <br />s license from the Texas <br />Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). He is known as <br />one of the best operators in the field and being a great guy to <br />work with. <br /> <br />Jesse, thanks for the work you do for all of us. <br /> <br /> <br />Shawn Kominek, Assistant EMS Chief (20 years) <br /> <br />Assistant Chief Shawn Kominek has been providing emergency <br />medical services to the La Porte community for a little over 20 <br />years. She worked as a relief paramedic for just more than a <br />year before joining the team full time as a paramedic in 2001. <br />Promotions to Lieutenant and Captain followed, and Shawn <br />Kominek has been our Assistant Chief of EMS since July 2019. <br />She has played a lead role in handling COVID personal <br />protective equipment and reporting activities for the <br />Department. She has been a great source of information to all <br />employees as we have worked through the pandemic. Shawn <br />Kominek is a great teammate, leader, and public servant. <br /> <br />Assistant Chief Shawn Kominek, we are fortunate to have you <br />on our team. Thanks for your continued service to La Porte. <br /> <br />
