Brian Christen, La Porte Community Church,and <br />pledgeswereled byMayor Pro Tem Engelken. <br />3. CITIZENCOMMENT(Generally limited to five minutes per person; in accordance with state law, the <br />time may be reduced if there is a high number of speakers or other considerations.) <br /> <br /> RyanMathis elaborated on his comments fromthe last meeting regarding funding from the Community <br />Fencing Ad Hoc Committee. <br />4.CONSENTAGENDA(Approval of Consent Agenda items authorizes each to be implemented in <br />accordance with staff recommendations provided. An item may be removed from the consent agenda <br />and added to the Statutory Agenda for full discussion upon request by a member of the Council present <br />at this meeting.) <br />Approvetheminutesoftheregular meeting of the City Council held on July 25,2022. <br />a. <br />\[LouisR.Rigby, Mayor <br />\] <br />b.Presentation, discussion, and possible action to consider appointments and <br />reappointments to City boards, committees, and commissions (annual item). \[Lee <br />Woodward, City Secretary\] <br />c.Approve nomination of Mayor Louis R. Rigby to place 8 on the TMLIRP Board of Directors. <br />\[Corby D. Alexander, City Manager\] <br />Mayor Pro Tem Engelkenmoved to approve items a and c; the motion was seconded by <br />Councilperson Lunsford;the motionwasadopted, 8-0. <br />Councilperson Lunsford moved to approve the appointments and reappointmentsfor item b except <br />those for the Airport Advisory Board andto requestthat staff bring back that Board <br />to a future meeting; the motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Engelken; the motion was <br />adopted, 8-0.Mayor Pro Tem Engelken requested that appointments for Council Committees (the <br />Page 1of 2 <br />August 8,2022,Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />
