9. Reports <br />a. Immunization Program [Shawn Kominek, EMS Chief] - EMS Chief Kominek <br />provided an overview of the program. <br />b. Report of the Drainage and Flooding Committee meeting held on April 14, <br />2025. [Councilperson Martin] <br />Councilperson Martin said the Committee met; received an update on the 100- <br />acre-foot detention pond project with the City of Pasadena, which is being <br />expanded but also accelerated; received additional reports; and set its next <br />meeting for May 12. <br />c. Administrative Reports [Corby Alexander, City Manager] - Mr. Alexander said <br />there were no reports. <br />10.Items of Community Interest <br />Councilpersons congratulated those recognized this evening; acknowledged Officer <br />Dan Hoffman for his success in the commercial vehicle inspection competition, <br />proceeding to the state; expressed pleasure at the Fire Department's Crawfish Boil; <br />encouraged all to attend the Sylvan Beach Day Festival; and thanked all the City <br />volunteers. <br />11. Executive Session <br />a. Municipal Judge annual evaluation - Texas Government Code Section <br />551.074 - Personnel Matters. Deliberation regarding the appointment, <br />employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a <br />public officer or employee - Municipal Court of Record Judge Janikka <br />'ratton. <br />The Council convened in executive session at 7:17 p.m. <br />12.Reconvene <br />motion was adopted 9-0. <br />
