H St., on approximately 2.0 acres of land legally described as Tracts 489E-1 <br />& 489C La Porte Outlots; Harris County, Texas; followed by discussion and possible <br />action to adopt Ordinance 2025-4062 for approval of Special Conditional Use Permit <br />SCUP-2025-0016 to allow a secondary dwelling unit in the Large Lot Residential (LL) <br />zoning district, located at 9818 N. H St., on approximately 2.0 acres of land legally <br />described as Tracts 48913-1 & 489C La Porte Outlots; Harris County, Texas. Statutory Agenda <br />Councilpersons will engage in debate in accordance with their adopted parliamentary <br />authority. Members of the public may be permitted to answer questions from the Council or <br />provide information if requested by the Council (either without objection or on a majority vote <br />in favor). <br />7.a Ordinance 2025-4057 Repealing Ordinance 2024-3972 <br />Discussion and possible action to approve or deny Ordinance 2025-4057 providing <br />for the repeal of Ordinance 2024-3972, concerning condemnation of the residential <br />building located on Lots 20 & 21, Block 197, La Porte, Harris County, Texas, more <br />commonly known as 114 S. Iowa St. [Ryan Hvitlok, Planning Director, Planning and <br />Development Department] <br />S. Reports <br />Presentation on major projects and/or departures from current practices are often provided <br />here. Reports from selected committees and periodic updates may also be provided. <br />8.a Fund Balance Report [Michael Dolby, Finance Director] <br />8.b Administrative Reports [Corby Alexander, City Manager] <br />9. Items of Community Interest <br />Per Texas Gov't. Code Sec. 551.0415, the Council may receive from staff and/or may make <br />a report about items of community interest during a meeting without having given notice of <br />the subject of the report, if no action is taken and, except as provided by Section 551.042, <br />possible action is not discussed regarding the information provided in the report. Hear <br />announcements concerning matters appearing on the agenda; items of community interest; <br />and/or inquiries of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy from the <br />Mayor, Councilpersons, and City staff, for which no formal action will be discussed. <br />10. Adjourn <br />Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary aids or <br />services are requested to contact the City Secretary's Office (281-470-5021), three working <br />days prior to the meeting for appropriate arrangements. <br />Pursuant to Texas Government Code Sec. 551.127, on a regular, non -emergency basis, <br />members may attend and participate in the meeting remotely by video conference.
