Askins, <br />City Attorney; Lee Woodward, City Secretary <br />The La Porte Development Corporation Board of Directors met on <br />March 24, 2025, at the City Hall Council Chambers, <br />604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, at 5:00 p.m. <br />1. CALL TO ORDER -President Oieda called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br />2. CITIZEN COMMENT - There were no comments. <br />3. AUTHORIZATIONS <br />a. Presentation, discussion, and possible action to approve the minutes of the <br />January 27, 2025, meeting. [Lee Woodward, City Secretary] <br />Member Engelken moved to approve the minutes Member Blakemore seconded <br />the motion; the motion was unanimously adopted. <br />b. Small Business Administration (SBA) Presentation - Presentation by Mark <br />Winchester, District Director of the Small Business Administration Houston <br />District Office, on their business assistance programs. [Haley Bowers, <br />Economic Development Manager] <br />Houston Deputy District Director Mark Winchester provided an overview of the <br />SBA program. <br />c. Main Street Station - Open 60-Day Public Comment Period - Presentation, <br />discussion, and possible action to open the 60-day public comment period <br />for a potential project of the La Porte Development Corporation to promote <br />new or expanded business enterprises at 115 W. Main St., La Porte, Texas, <br />to be known as Main Street Station, through an incentive payment up to <br />$101,837.00. [Haley Bowers, Economic Development Manager] <br />
