The subjecttract is heavily wooded and adjoinsthe <br />Little Cedar BayouPark. Development proposal is about eight 1-bedroom <br />apartments just south of the City’s Little Cedar Bayou park and trail,close to <br />the south end of the recently constructed bridge. The property is strategically <br />located in the near vicinity of the golf course, park and trail, and the Little <br />Cedar Bayou Park, all parks and recreationdevelopments. <br />As noted above, the applicant is requesting approval of a zone change from <br />R-1 Low Density Residential to R-3 High Density Residential for the eastern <br />two third of the subject site. The overall property is approximately 1.07 acres <br />in area and currently vacant. The property to the west side of the subject site <br />is zoned R-1.
