<br />Unrestricted Net Position
<br />The remaining balance is unrestricted net position, $22 million or 17%, and may be used to meet the City's
<br />ongoing obligations to residents and creditors. Both of these categories remained relatively stable compared
<br />to the prior year.
<br />The following table provides a summary of the City’s operations for the year ended September 30, 2014,
<br />with comparative totals for the year ended September 30, 2013. Governmental activities increased the
<br />City’s net position by $3.5 million. Business-type activities decreased net position by $272 thousand.
