It shows 3 different <br />options. <br /> <br />City Council likes Option #3 the best. That is the one I was telling you about. It's a 20,000 sf facility that <br />would be built next to our existing Jimmy Burke Activity Center. <br /> <br />They are trying to figure out how to pay for it. They have not voted on anything....this is all just being <br />discussed. <br /> <br />It's a 20,000 sf building that would cost $3.5 million. <br /> <br />The 2 big conference rooms could be combined, forming an 11,000 sf room. <br /> <br />With no tables or chairs, that 11,000 sf room could fit over 1,000 people (they say to figure 10 sf of <br />"cushioned personal space" per person if they are standing around socializing). <br /> <br />Also, here's a guide that I found, which shows the various ways a room can be set up and how many <br />people it would hold: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
