Susan Giacona-Bio updated 7/2017 <br />Cell: 281-705-4082 Email: SusanGiaconaSongwriter@gmail.com <br />Whether she's performing live at congressional campaign fundraisers and charity events, or working <br />-genre <br />songwriter, Susan Giacona (a former Marketing Communications Manager for Compaq/Hewlett-Packard ) is <br />proving to be a multi-talented force. <br /> <br />Harnessing a voice oftentimes compared to that of country music superstar, LeAnn Rimes, infused with the <br />-life <br />themes. She is currently working on her debut EP, entitled Take Me Back, which is scheduled to drop in 2017, <br />and is being produced in Nashville. Susan will be wearing couture evening wear by luxury clothing designer, <br />Nick Navarro, in the music video which will accompany the release of the single, Take Me Back. <br /> <br />Susan also works closely with other writers to create songs for artists of multiple genres, as well as music <br />appearing on television, movies, and ads. She recently teamed up with hit songwriter, Marty Dodson (Songs <br />Like This by Carrie Underwood, Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven by Kenny Chesney) to write Kindness <br />Matters, a song set to appear in the upcoming movie, when it releases in 2017. Other <br />songwriters she has co-nk About It by Darius Rucker) <br />and Ryan Griffin (Dibs by Kelsea Ballerini), Grammy nominee Shelly Peiken (Bitch, by Meredith Brooks) , Jason <br />Duke (Dibs by Kelsea Ballerini, That Could Still Be Us by Keith Urban) Chuck Jones (Your Love Amazes Me by <br />John Berry) , Marti Dodson (lead singer of Saving Jane, You Look Like Rain by Luke Bryan), Jennifer Hanson <br />(Let Me Down Easy by Billy Currington), and Jim Femino (How Do You Like Me Now by Toby Keith). Susan has <br />music licensed for use with Universal y, Washington Street Publishing (advertising), licensing <br />projects in the works with 430 Entertainment, and John Pocino Film Productions. Susan will have songs <br />featured in the opening and closing credits in which she will also have a <br />small speaking role, as well as a vocal performance scene in the film. <br />Original. A Lifetime Original Film, which tells the story of poet and author, Dr Beverly Johnson, and as yet <br />unnamed, will fMe into <br />be used in the upcoming PR campaign for one of the busiest tourist attractions in Texas, The Battleship Texas. <br />A music video featuring , combined with archived photos and film footage taken in WWI and <br />WWII, will be the focal point of the national campaign. Other organizations using Susan's music for campaigns <br />and special events are the Round Up in Pink organization, and the Wheelchairs for Warriors organization. <br /> <br />Susan has also been nominated for Songwriter of the Year 2017, by the East Texas Music Foundation and <br />she has a song up for Single of the Year 2017, by the Texas Country Music Association (Where Will I Be, cut by <br />The Darrin Morris Band).
