City of La PortePlanning and Development Department <br /> Established 1892 Richard Mancilla, Director <br /> <br />February 16, 2018 <br />Honorable Mayor Rigby and City Council <br />City of La Porte <br />RE: Special Conditional Use Permit Request #18-91000002 <br /> <br />Dear Mayor Rigby and City Council: <br /> <br />The La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission held a regular meeting on February 15, 2018 to <br />hear a Special Conditional Use Permit request by Doak Brown, applicant, on behalf of Bayforest <br />Ranch, Ltd, owner; for a Special Conditional Use Permit to allow for the development of a multi- <br />family apartment complex. The subject site is located on the east side of SH 146 north of <br />Wharton Weems Blvd., and is legally described as Tract 1L, Abstract 35, J Hunter Survey.
