In order to accommodate the proposed zone <br />change, the FLUP would need to be amended to show the property asa singular“Mid-High <br />DensityResidential”. <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their February 15, 2018 regular meeting, voted 8-0 to <br />recommend approval of the proposed Future Land Use Amendment. <br /> <br /> <br />Action Required by Council: <br />1.Conduct public hearing. <br />2.Consider action on a recommendation by the Planning and Zoning Commission to approve <br />an Ordinance amending the City’s Future Land Use Plan for a 20 acre tract of land known as <br />Tract 1L, Abstract 35, J Hunter Survey, located on the east side of SH 146 north of Wharton <br />Weems Blvd. and as depicted in the attached exhibit. <br /> <br />
