The undersigned agrees that the amounts bid in this proposal will not be withdrawn or modified for sixty (60) days following date of bid opening. It is understood that the bid security accompanying this proposal nho| be returned to the undersigned un|eaa, in case of the acceptance of this proposal the undersigned should fail to enter into e construction contract and execute bonds as provided in the specifications. In the event the undersigned should fail to enter into a construction contract and execute bonds as required within 14 calendar days afterthe Engineer has given unsigned contracts to the Contractor, it is understood and agreed that the bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner and ohoU be considered as payment for damages duo to delay and other inconveniences suffered by the Owner as a result of such failure on the part of the undersigned.
