<br />On July 13,the La Porte City Council approved a Public Hearing for the Fiscal Year
<br />2020-2021 Proposed Budget would be held on Monday, September 14, 2020, at the
<br />regularly scheduled Council meeting, which begins at 6:00 p.m. Unfortunately, staff
<br />does not have the necessary information to post the public hearing notice for the
<br />th
<br />September 14meeting. The public hearing will need to be postponed until the next
<br />th
<br />meeting on September 28; however, staff would like to take the opportunity to discuss
<br />any additional changes that council would like to consider to the proposed budget.
<br />The City Council held a budget workshop on August 10, 2020 to discuss the proposed
<br />budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, 2021.
<br />The Summary of Funds, which is shown below, represents the result of the workshops
<br />held with City Council. All changes made by City Council were incorporated into the
<br />various budgets.
