Presentation, discussion, and possible action to approve an election services contract between Harris <br />County and the City of La Porte, relating to the City's Councilperson-District 6 runoff election to be held on <br />December 12, 2020. \[Mayor Louis R. Rigby\] <br /> <br />The agreement has not been received from Harris County and a special session has been posted for Thursday at 5 <br />p.m. and a special session on Monday will be considered if the agreement is further delayed. <br />4.STATUTORY AGENDA <br />a.Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding Quote No. OPP0076381 to TDIndustries under <br />BuyBoard Contract # 552-17 for the purchase and installation of UV-C Light Sterilization Systems at City <br />facilities. \[Corby Alexander, City Manager\] <br /> <br />Councilperson Earp moved to approve the purchase and installation of UV-C Light Sterilization Systems at City <br />facilities from TDIndustries under BuyBoard Contract #552-17, as regards Quote No. OPP0076381; the motion was <br />seconded by Councilperson Bentley; the motion was adopted, 7-0. <br />5.COUNCIL COMMENTS Hear announcements concerning matters appearing on the agenda; items of community <br />interest; and/or inquiries of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy from the Mayor, <br />Councilmembers, and City staff, for which no formal action will be discussed or taken. <br /> <br />Councilpersons congratulated Brent McCaulley and Trey Kendrick and thanked Councilpersons Earp and Gillett; offered <br />appreciation of the LPISD ; and shared -marathon. <br />ADJOURN Without objection, Mayor Rigby adjourned the meeting at 5:15 p.m. <br />_______________________________ <br />Lee Woodward, City Secretary <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />November 16, 2020, Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
