BOX 952 <br />NATCHEZ, MS 39121 <br />601-442-6648 <br />December 2, 2021 <br />Mr. Corby Alexander <br />City Manager <br />City of La Porte <br />604 W Fairmont Pky <br />La Porte, TX 77571 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: Development Agreement between the City of La Porte <br />and Oakland Land & Development, LLC dated by <br />signature of Mr. Alexander for the City on March 27, 2017. <br />Dear Mr. Alexander, <br />As per our conversation several weeks ago, I am writing this letter to request a two year <br />extension of our development agreement with the city as referenced above. <br />Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, unforeseen health issues with one of the partners in our <br />business, the shortage of construction materials and the untimely death of Mr. Bill Campbell, our <br />lead designer, our construction schedule has been unavoidably delayed. <br />th <br />We are currently waiting on permits to finish the construction at 600 South 14 Street and 421 <br />th <br />North 11 Street, 421 not being a part of our development agreement.
