The pipeline will originateon the west side of Union Pacific Railroad, east of Sens Road,and terminate on theinside of theDow Lomax Facility, located at approximately359 Old Underwood Road, La Porte,TX.The total distance of the pipeline between the two (2) facilities is approximately 2,200 linear feet. The pipelinewill be located between Old Underwood Road and the railroad, south of Hwy 225,in a corridor owned by Exxon and a portion owned by CenterPointEnergy. Cobb Fendley & Associates has reviewed the Seadrift Pipeline Corporationapplication and plans for the 10-inch Pipeline construction are in compliance with the requir presents no conflicts with existing water, sewer, or drainage facilities along its route between Old Underwood Road and the railroad, south of Hwy 225. In accordance with Section 102-236(c), the City Council shall consider approval or denial of the permit. Upon approval by the City Council, staff will execute a construction permit to Seadrift Pipeline Corporation, in duplicate originals; one duplicate shall be delivered to the permittee and one which shall be retained by the City, as required by ordinance. Staff recommends granting the permit application based upon a determination of ACTION REQUIRED BY CITY COUNCIL
