The bid was posted on Public Purchase, the City website and advertised in the Bay Area Observer on July 20, 2023 and July 27, 2023. 99vendors were notified, with 19vendors downloading the bid documents and four(4) vendors submitting a bid. The low bid was submitted by Aztec Remodeling and Landscaping in the amount of $145,320.00. This solicitation scope includes 180 linear feetof cart path removal, hauled off and replaced with rebar reinforced concrete. Along with the cart path repair, this includes removal of 265 linear feet of bulkhead on hole #15 and replaced with 265 linear feet of bulkhead with reinforced tie backs. After completion of the repairs on hole #15, 310 linear feet of bulkhead will be installed on hole #1. Staff recommends award of Bid #23030 to Aztec Remodeling and Landscapingthe amount of $145,320 with a contingency of $14,532.00 for a total authorization of $159,852.00.Aztec Remodeling and Landscapinghas performed this type work at the golf course in the past with favorable results.(Billy Stoker, General Manager) STRATEGIC PLAN STRATEGY AND GOAL 3.0 Infrastructureand Facilities The City of La Portewill have and maintain a strong infrastructure and up to date facilities in order to continue to provide superior services for our neighbors.
