Brookglen Stormwater Detention Basin
Traffic Impact Study
4 CONCLUSIONS
Due to low number of total trips at the intersection of Somerton Drive / Ashwyne Lane during peak
hour, no changes are proposed to the stop sign control at this time. For the operational analysis,
it is recommended that the stop sign at the intersection of Brookwood Drive/ Gladwyne Lane and
Gladwyne Lane/ Ashwyne Lane be removed as there are no conflicting turning movements.
Based on the safety and traffic analysis conducted to determine the impacts of abandoning
Oakhaven Road and Gladwyne Lane on the study area it is concluded that the public roadway
system in the community as well as the study intersections can accommodate rerouting of the
trips without any mitigation measures. All intersections in the study area will continue to operate
reasonably with LOS A or B.

16|Page
