The subject site currently has at least one complete <br />building awaiting final approval from the City. The site plan included a note requiring an automatic sprinkler system. <br />However, sites less than 1 acre in area are allowed to use a hose bibb system. In this case, the entire <br />area is greater than 1 acre in size. <br /> <br />the literal interpretation of the code approved by the Board subject to the fact that enforcement of the <br />provisions of the code would cause an unnecessary hardship because of circumstances unique to the <br />subject property. The Board is authorized to grant a variance when the Board finds that a number of <br />criteria are met.
