City of La Porte Meet and Confer <br />Committee Agenda <br />Notice is hereby given of a City of La Porte Meet and Confer Committee Meeting to be held August 1, 2012 in <br />the Council Chambers of City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas beginning at 3:00 p.m. <br />regarding the items of business according to the agenda listed below <br />Call to Order <br />Review and approval of minutes from June 20, 2012 meeting. <br />3. Open discussion relating to items introduced by the Police Association and/or the City of La Porte, <br />regarding compensation, leave provisions, working conditions, and civil service preemptions. <br />Set date and time for next Meet and Confer Committee Meeting <br />5. Committee Comments <br />a. Matters appearing on the agenda <br />b. Inquiry of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy <br />6. Adjournment <br />There may be a quorum of City Councilmembers present at this meeting and may participate in discussion at <br />this meeting; however, they will not vote on matters.
